This session will explore the relationship between behavior and SEL skills, executive skills and stress. Through this exploration we'll discuss the importance of arriving at a school-wide common framework, or philosophy, for understanding why children (and adults) do what they do. In the process, we'll identify the elements of SEL-Supportive environments, and discuss practical ways (routines, strategies, and language) to integrate SEL into daily life in school.
